Community Partnership: Combat for Compassion
This year, we are honored to partner with Combat for Compassion, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children of veterans lost to suicide.
Earlier this year, they joined us at Biscuits ’n’ Tips and shared their mission. Their work centers on walking alongside children who have experienced deep loss and helping provide long-term support, stability, and care.

What this means for July 4th:
- Donations collected on the day of the event only will be split 50/50 between The Ledge and Combat for Compassion
- Donations made prior to July 4th will continue to support The Ledge’s operations
How Combat for Compassion helps:
- Establishes trust funds for children impacted by loss
- Provides ongoing support throughout the year, including birthdays, holidays, and school needs
- Connects families with additional resources when needed
- Operates fully volunteer-led, with funds going directly to the children
We are grateful for the opportunity to come alongside this mission and extend the reach of care through our shared community.
