Parade, supper, music, and fireworks
Join us for the annual Independence Day Parade at The Ledge, followed by supper, music, fireworks, and fellowship. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors, and bring your lawn chairs for the fireworks at The Lodge.

What to bring
Lawn chairs. A cooler with drinks (bring your own; water is provided). A dessert to share is optional but encouraged. Wear patriotic colors.
Food provided
BBQ, baked beans, potato salad, and water. Limited, first come, first served.
What to expect
Join the parade, eat, play games, and watch the fireworks. Free admission; a $10 donation from adults helps sustain this event.

The route
Line up at The Ledge, finish at The Lodge
The parade’s line-up begins at 6:00 p.m. at The Ledge (3581 Hwy 70 E). It proceeds up Highway 152, through the Spring Creek Baptist Church parking lot and the back field, to The Lodge (3541 Hwy 70 E), and circles back.
Following the parade, stay for BBQ, games, and fireworks. Lawn chairs welcome in the pavilion at The Lodge.

Ride in a decorated vehicle or walk with your kids and pets in red, white, and blue. Off-road vehicles, ATVs, lawnmowers, tractors, horses, and golf carts are all welcome. Last year had 15 entries, so let’s double it.

Combat for Compassion
Walking alongside children who have lost a parent
We are honored to partner with Combat for Compassion, a nonprofit supporting children of veterans lost to suicide. They joined us earlier this year at Biscuits ’n’ Tips to share their mission.
What this means for July 4th: donations collected on the day of the event only are split 50/50 between The Ledge and Combat for Compassion. Donations made before July 4th continue to support The Ledge’s operations.
- Establishes trust funds for children impacted by loss
- Provides support through the year, including birthdays, holidays, and school needs
- Connects families with additional resources
- Fully volunteer-led, with funds going directly to the children
