Bring seeds from your garden, leftover packets, or plants to trade. A simple way to learn from one another.

  • Plant and handmade vendors

Perennials, indoor plants, and hard-to-find exotics, plus soaps, balms, pottery, and natural products.

  • Farm and homestead displays

Local agricultural businesses, homesteader displays, and deer conservation seed mixes.

  • Paint a pot for kids

Little gardeners can paint a clay pot to take home and plant.

Grow with us

Master Gardener volunteer project and the community garden bed

Master Gardeners and community volunteers help lead a front bed installation during the event, adding new perennials to refresh the space for everyone who visits through the year. We provide tools, materials, perennial plants (or space for yours), and a dedicated area for Master Gardener planning and stewardship.

We are plant lovers ourselves, especially Hellebores for their winter blooms and Ajuga for its ground cover. Madison County Master Gardeners: we would love your ideas, and we are happy to work with gardeners who share the passion. Email [email protected] about the volunteer project.

Our raised community garden bed, about 3.5 by 16 feet, is open to look around. It is a shared space for everyone through the year.
