Center for the Lost Arts

We are on a mission to teach everyone, young and old, the crafts that relate to household and family preservation.

Yarn arts

Knitting, weaving, crocheting, embroidery, and everything yarn related. These classes serve to educate others on creating household and wearable items that can be put to everyday use.

Food Arts

Everything you need to know from growing and raising your own food to preserving and preparing food for your family and friends. These classes cover a wide range of topics that will fill your pantry and heart.

PRACTICAL ARTS

From woodworking to mechanics, our practical knowledge used to be passed down through the generations. Today, we aim to bring back the practical arts and help the next generation thrive.

HAVE an idea for a class?

Is there a specific craft or skill that you believe would be helpful for community members? Are you a skilled craftsperson looking to share your talents with the rest of us?

Use the form to the right to send us your ideas or let us know if you’re interested in teaching a class. Our mission is to serve the Spring Creek community, and we can’t do that in a silo. We need your input to make The Center for the Lost Arts valuable for everyone.
